Fraza & Vitan Equipment is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Buffalo team. You’ll travel to customer locations in a company service truck, diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment, and help keep our customers’ businesses moving.

We’re looking for technicians with experience diagnosing and repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, automotive equipment, hydraulic systems, or other mechanical equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs at customer locations
• Service a wide range of material handling equipment — from forklifts to tractor trailers and everything in between
• Work independently while staying connected with our service and dispatch team
• Communicate with customers and keep them informed about repairs and equipment needs
• Maintain accurate service records using mobile technology
• Keep your company service truck stocked, organized and ready to go
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment is operating safely

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Hands-on mechanical repair experience in forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel, automotive, hydraulics or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Someone who enjoys figuring out how things work and solving problems
• Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule
• Willingness to learn new equipment and systems

Forklift experience is a plus, but it is not the only experience we consider.
