Urgent Hiring: Matthai Material Handling & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician / Field Service Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment. If you have experience in forklift, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair, this field-based role offers the perfect change of pace to utilize your diagnostic expertise across complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

What you’ll do:

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems directly at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep local businesses running
• Hit the road across your assigned territory—no getting stuck in the same shop every day
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately via mobile dispatch and communicate updates clearly

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or auto mechanics looking to transition to heavy equipment
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate the company service truck
